Birth record dated Jan 23, 1890 at 8:40 a.m. in the town of Civita

Appearing was Antonio Francese, age 38, a day laborer. He reported that at 6:30 P.M. on the 20th of the current month, in the house on Strada Garibaldi, his wife, Maria Guaragna, a peasant/farmer living with him, gave birth to a male infant whom he was presenting and to whom was being given the name Pasquale. Witnesses were Giuseppe Placco, age 66, a day laborer, and Giuseppe (?), age 22, same occupat6ion.

The act was read aloud to all who intervened, but only the town official signed below, as the others were illiterate.
