Translation Help Please

Looking at Index 10 Toscano Nicolo Maria: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/T ... n330442076

I just need help with one word please. What is the word before mese – I can’t decipher it?. Nicola was born on the 15 of ? mese. Can I please have both the Italian word and the translation for it. Thank you. Angela

The word is "volgente" and is an old-fashioned way tho say "current" month (in this case, February).
