sappiere as an occupation

sappiere as an occupation

It looks like the occupation is sappiero or something similar. Handwriting is hard to decipher. Any idea?

Here is the birth certificate. It's Luigi Russo on the bottom of the page. His father's occupation is what I need. Also his mothers name but it is unreadable to me.

The profession is "tappezziere"=upholsterer
Mother is Colomba Merito (not 100% sure about the surname)
