Please Translate Latin Birth Record

Post by oemorg »

This is a copy of the birth/baptism record of Maria Carolina Micieli. The way I read it is she was born on 16 Nov 1805 and was baptized 15 Nov 1805. I don't think they did prenatal baptisms. I must be wrong. Please help.

Thanks,
Greg

Dated Nov 16, 1805
Parish Church San Giovanni Battista -town of San Lucido
Maria Carolina Micieli was baptized on the 15th. Her parents were Giuseppe Micieli, the son of deceased Pasquale (Micieli,) and Gesualda Lentini, spouses in the town.
Godmother was Aurelia Scaramella, ordinary(?) midwife. I don't see her date of birth in the record.

Erudita,

So I guess the 16th is the date the record was written.

Thanks a lot,
Greg
