Dated 30 Septpember 1832 at noon at the town office in Rutigliano, Bari
Appearing before the official was Giambattista Damato, age 26, peasant farmer residing in Rutigliano, to declare that a male child was born to Maria Colamussi, peasant farmer, his legitimate wife residing with him, age 25; and to the declarant as stated above... on 30 September at 5 in the morning at the place at Strada Porticella. The child was given the name GIUSEPPE.
Witnesses to the record: Cesare Passeti, 26, tailor; Signor Ciro Daponte, 30, middleclass.

This is the Solemn Promise to Marry

Dated 8 October 1863 at 7 PM at the town office in Rutigliano
Appearing before the official was
Giuseppe Damato, 31, born in Rutigliano, peasant farmer son of Giambattista, peasant farmer; and of deceased Maria Colamussi.
AND
Filomena Rex, peasant farmer, age 23, born in Rutigliano, daughter of Nicola Rex, peasant farmer and Grazia Florio, residing with her husband.
Notification of this solemn act was posted on 20 September. The groom's father and both parents of the bride were present to give their consent.

Documents presented:
1 - birth act of the groom in Rutigliano on 30 September 1832
2 - death act of the groom's mother in Rutigliano on 23 February 1842
3 - birth act of the bride in Rutigliano on 26 September 1840
4 - Act of notification to which there was no opposition to the marriage.

There were 4 witnesses to the act of Solemn Promise.

RIGHT COLUMN
This is the celebration of the marriage in church.
It was on 10 October 1863
Witnesses to this celebration:
Don Oronzo Longo (priest); and Paolo Avella of deceased Pietro.
