Help with Marriage Certificate

Postby ncolonna » 23 Nov 2013, 05:00

Hi,

Hoping someone can help me with this marriage certificate. It should be record #8, marriage of Nicola Rex & Grazia Florio. Is the marriage certificate only the one page or is it 3 pages?

Thank you for looking and appreciate all your efforts.

The full record (this is not a certificate, it is the original registration of the marriage promise and subsequent marriage) is 4 pages.
The marriage took place on Feb 24 1827, the marriage promise was made on the 23rd.

This record also shows the following events, all in Rutigliano:
Nicola Rex born 22 Oct 1801(?)
Nicola's father died 3 Aug 1815
Nicola's gfather (also Nicola) died 14 Jul 1814
Grazia Florio was born 2 Sept 1804
Grazia's father died 14 Jan 1811
Grazia's gfather (also Nicola) died 3 Feb 1873

Thank you for the help with the translation. The date for the death of Grazia's grandfather seems quite late, is it possible that is a mistake? Is there any other information on the records which may come in use as I continue my research?

Thanks again!
