Gennaro Visaggio Morti 1832

Postby ItalianbellaSA » 21 Jan 2014, 22:18

Hi Everyone!

I have been looking for a death record for my Great Great Grandfather, Gennaro Visaggio. I found this death record for 1832 and think it could be him. I have his father's name as Giuseppe but I don't have a name for his mother. I found a record of a Gennaro Visaggio in the index for Molfetta 1832, but I cannot find it in the record. I am thinking that 7bre would be September? Can someone please help me find the actual record. I am thinking it is the 3rd of September, but his record is not listed under that date. Thanks for any assistance. Here is the link to the index (Gennaro Visaggio is number 491):

It is hoped that the research I am doing helps to discover, preserve and celebrate my family history.

Record is dated Sept 5, 1832. Gennaro died on the 5th at 9 a.m. Husband of Giovanna Minutillo, age 47, a sailor. Son of deceased Giuseppe Visaggio and deceased Carmnina (surname ?). I can't read her surname, sorry

I believe Carmina's surname is Uva - found in Molfetta (a bit clearer in the index.)
