the other old Bellomo baptism

Postby bvbellomo » 22 Jan 2014, 16:53

Here is the only other "Vincenzo Bellomo" baptism I found:

It looks like his name is Vincenzo Joseph Bellomo but I can't read anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Most likely, 1 of these 2 records is my 6th great grandfather.

He was born on the same day of baptism (March 20th, 1725) son of "maestro" Michele and cantreadmothersname. Godparents were ?iano Rizzo son of "maestro" Pietro and Giovanna Rizzo, and Angela Milano, daughter of "maestro" Antonio and Leonarda Milano.

Thanks! I bet this is him, since I see maestro on most of my family records and the age fits better than the other record. Rizzo is also a name in this part of my family tree, although it is common enough.
