Is this name Ramero/a or Baucero? Please help!

Postby jkingb » 04 Feb 2014, 17:09

I have a death record from Piemonte, on which one of the parent's names isn't completely clear. Can somebody help? I am referring to the surname of Maria, mother of the deceased. I first thought the name was "Ramero" or maybe "Ramera" (looking it up on surname profiler it looks like the "a" form is more common), but a very experienced user who I contacted privately felt it was more likely "Baucero". We still aren't positive, though. Can anyone else chime in?

Thanks!
