Birth Record Question

Postby oemorg » 07 Feb 2014, 13:07

This is the birth record (#59) of Maria Eugenia Squilacci. Domenico is her father. The name of the mother seems to be missing. I can't understand what it says where the mother's name should be written. The scan is not that clear, I know, it's the best I could do. If illegitimate, usually it would say "madre incerto". I just want to know if it says anything other than the child being illegitimate. The record (#58) above seems to have the same thing written where the mother's name should be. It is more legible, so that should help.

Thanks for your help,
Greg

It states that this child was born from his natural union with a woman who does not consent to be named...
