Dated May 23, 1897 at 10:20 a.m. in the town of Frigento. Appearing was Pasquale Cipriano, age 38, peasant/farmer in Frigento. He reported that, at 2:15 a.m. on the 23rd, in the house at #24 Contrada Roseto, his wife, Grazia Martone, a peasant/farmer who was living with him gave birth to a male infant who was being presented and to whom was being given the name Marciano. Witnesses were Alfonso Pelosi, age 38, peasant/farmer and Felice Ciampi, age 25, property owner, both living in the town. The informant did not sign the record, as he was illiterate.
