Help with a letter in Italian

Postby tucker18 » 15 May 2005, 07:53

Hi,
Just received a letter from Sicily. I tried to translate it but most of the words were not recognized. Please help!

Caro Roberto.
Mi farebbe, comunque, piacere conoscerLa, qualora Lei venisse in Sicilia.
Le porgo i miei piu' cordiali saluti.
Mario Raccuia

Thanks Bob

Hello,
here is the translation:

"Dear Roberto,
I answer to your letter, telling you that, after researching civil records, it comes out that we are no related even if we have the same last name.
I assure you to look for your relatives, who already try to keep in touch with you.
I would like to meet you, whenever you come in Sicily.
Yours truly"

I hope it helps, bye ricbru
