American Idiom Tradurre un idioma americano

Postby iolanda2 » 07 May 2014, 15:20

Hello Everyone

I would like for you to suggest a translation for this American idiom " happy go lucky', the literal translation would be felice va it fortunato.

The idiom describes the outward appearance of a person who seems to be enjoying life without worry, to appear carefree. This does not mean the person appears stupid or thoughtless.

perhaps, oggi e bene e sera sera - today is good and sera sera

This idiom was used by Americans who observed the italian POWS in the state of Kansas 1943 - 1946

thank you in advance
