Thank-you so much for all of your help, It has helped me fill in some of my tree, and has raised more and more question :) This one is interesting because Sabatino Rosati Is the Dominico's Brother in law, but the other puzzling thing is the Panfilio Del Giudice he is also in my family tree on another branch, maybe it was a small town and all neighbors? I wonder what caused these 2 young kids to pass away? Anyway back to more researching. Thank-you so much again for your time :)

Today, Fontecchio has a population of about 422 residents ...
Probably not MUCH more than than in 19th C. ? There were about 43 deaths recorded that year; and 39 births.

Disease (like cholera and malaria) were a problem, as was malnutrition. Can not say for sure what caused the deaths of these young ones, but it was not uncommon.

As you can see here:

http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fontecchio ... emografica

population at the end of 19th century was about triple than today.
After WW2 most of country and mountain villages in Italy suffered from emigration to cities in search of better conditions of life.
