help with bride's mother name, pls

Donna
Her first name is Mariantonia, which you probably can decipher. Still not sure about her surname.

At first I thought her surname might be Lollo as it is a common surname in Altavilla and some of the surrounding towns. There is only one other Romangnoli family that resided there, so it is not a common surname. However, Sacco is a surname in Pietrastornina where she was born. It threw me b/c the first letter is more 'straight', not having the curve of an 's' as in 'Sindaco' or 'Severino.'

Hi Donna
I eliminated the surname Sacco from consideration, as I too thought the initial letter was formed differently than in the words you mention in your reply above. Anyway, since you know the surname is common in the town in which she was born, T is probably correct. I definitely agree that acco is correct, as I saw that part of the name initially and should have posted that I perceived it with a question mark for the initial letter. Your records certainly do continue to challenge us.
