Birth Record 91 – Antonino Bor`a

Recorded - 14 June 1826, Gioiosa
Date of Birth – 13 June 1826, 11 p.m.
Father: Maestro Lucio Bor`a, 37, Sartore – Tailor, living "nel quartiere del Convento"? - district/area of Convento? (there is a Via Convento in Gioiosa)
Mother: Carmela Lauria, his wife, aged 30
Male babe given the name Antonino.

Baptism details on the right: Baptised on 14 June. Church/parish – Madrice - not sure?

(There's a lot of writing but most of it is sort of repetitive.)

Thank you.

If you haven't already seen it you might find the following link interesting:
http://www.vivisicilia.it/2014/02/23/co ... a-marea-3/

This should be in English:
http://translate.google.co.nz/translate ... 6bih%3D520

I've only skim read it but it seems to be saying that Gioiosa Marea was divided into four quarters –Chain?, St Mary, St Nicholas, and Convento. So I am guessing that the record is referring to the Convento quarter ?
