Guidotti Birth Record

Postby labiancm » 21 Aug 2014, 00:27

Hello,

Would love some help deciphering this birth record of my 5th great-grandfather. Appears he was 50 years old when his daughter is born, but I can't make out his wife's name. Any help in translating would be great

Benedetta is the mothers family name. The mothers first name eludes me

The record is dated June 30, 1810 at 11 P.M. Gregorio Guidotti was age 50. His wife, the baby's mother, was Benedetta (her first name not surname) Rizzi, age 30. Anna Maria Donata Guidotti was born on the 30th at 4 P.M.

Maybe so, but NOT in this record. If you look at the mothers' names in the preceding and following records, you will see that the first names are written followed by the surnames and not the other way around.
