Maria there is a book ITALIAN GENEALOGICAL RECORDS BY Trafford R. COLE which is an easy read containing examples and translations of many common Italian records(they all say the same thing save for names and dates) as well as basic Italian Genealogy that you can find either at your library or purchase thru the internet that will help you with your family genealogy research backed by the expertise of our resident genealogists. The reason why I mention this to you is you obviously are researching and will find the book an excellent reference so that when you encounter difficulties you will be able to request specific questions that we can readily answer.
