1898 Atti di Matrimonio - Rauco / Boccanera

Postby malsbury » 19 Dec 2014, 18:12

Record No. 34: Marriage of Giuseppe Rauco & Margherita Boccanera

I have attached a scanned image of the record.

This record appears to contain the names and some details for the parents of Giuseppe & Margherita.

They would be a whole new generation that I have yet to have any information on.

Any assistance with the translations of this marriage record would be greatly appreciated.

Leonessa, september 22, 1898. Marriage record of Giuseppe Rauco, unmarried, age 25, shoemaker, born and residing in Leonessa, son of Pietrantonio and Angelamaria Zolli (both residing in Leonessa), with Margherita Boccanera, unmarried, age 23, housewife, born and residing in Leonessa, daughter of Francesco (residing in Leonessa) and late Maria Zampetti.

Thank you for this translation.

This just opened up three new surnames for me to research!

After looking through the birth indexes for Leonessa it appears that Zelli is a common name in the town and the letter "e" is much clearer in the indexes.

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
