same person? two names?

Postby elmosgirl » 27 Dec 2014, 21:28

Aniello, Agnello names.pdf
(200.32 KiB) Downloaded 16 times
I'm hoping someone can help unscramble the names in the attached file from a birth record.

Is it possible that ANIELLO and AGNELLO are one and the same?

Where found, all family records have ANIELLO in them.

This is the first record where I find AGNELLO, much less ANIELLO too.

Thanks!

They could be the same person, but I'm not 100% sure. Is it possible to see the full documents? Maybe comparing the dates and the ages...

Thank you Livio. I will scan and attach the full page later today so you can see it in its entirety.

I have received your PM and definitely the persons shown in the pdf above are the same person.
The person named Aniello signed as Agnello. The 2 names are interchangeable.
btw he is 69, not 79 years old.

Thank you so much for your help with this, Livio.

Now I can verify that records I've found, in addition to the ones scanned for you, are indeed for persons in my family.

Confirming the two-names-as-one-person also "introduces" me to even more substantiation about my great-great-great grandfather!

Wonderful! And thank you for the correction regarding his age in the record!

Very important correction!

Buon Anno,

Noel
