Francesca Fanelli-Death

Postby dita531 » 28 Jan 2015, 00:18

Hi,
The death year should be 1870, and the parents should be Egidio Carmine (a shepherd, son of Francesco Antonio Fanelli) and Maria Maddelena Martoccia (a spinner, daughter of Giuseppe Martoccia)

I'd like to know:
1. The exact date of death, how old and cause
2. Ages of parents
3. Who are the other people mentioned
4. Anything else that seems important to helping me trace my roots!

Thank you so much

The death date was Oct 24, 1871. Cause of death is not given. Very rare to find an Italian record with a cause of death.
The ages of the parents are not given in the record.
The declarants who reported the death to the town official lived on the same street as the parents and deceased child.
Nothing else of importance in the record.

Hi, Thank you everyone.

Is the death year definitely 1871 and not 1870?

I have the book starting here on page 785:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1942-33345-7397-76?cc=2043547&wc=M795-QTL:392227201,392377701,392386601

The cover page is again repeated on 786.
Record 1 is on p 787
Record 237 is on page 951
The index is on page 963 and the book ends on page 965.

Side note - I've been making bookmarks with the page numbers - anywhere I can post that so I can help someone else out? Thank you!

The record is definitely 1871. (look for settantuno as part of the year on the record)

The index for 1870 starts with image 867. The cover sheet for 1871 is image 870. The index for 1871 starts with image 963.,
