1817 Marriage Info

Postby Haztek » 03 Mar 2015, 12:32

At the bottom of this record it looks like the marriage took place on 19 May 1817.

In the body of the text there is a date of 16 January 1815. What does that date pertain to?

Thanks, jerry

Jerry
The dated June 16, 1815 (not Jan) is the date of a royal decree. The marriage took place on May 19, 1817, according to the terms of that decree.
