Applying the philosophy that sometimes the journey is at least as important as the destination...

Italian Numbers
Italian Calendar
Italian Occupations

Oh... and for non-marriage records, "ieri" (yesterday), "l'altro ieri" (day before yesterday), and "oggi" (today) are useful words to recognize.

Seriously, for an extensive multi-record search, the above links combined with an online translator can be real time savers. And for me, part of the fun of family research has been in trying to puzzle out the meaning (and sometimes the words themselves!) of various records.
