Postby ncolonna » 04 May 2015, 04:41

Hi,

Looking to get some help translating these 2 documents for my 4x great grandfather.

Here's a link to his death record (one on the right) http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archivio+di+Stato+di+Bari/Stato+civile+italiano/Noja/Morti/1861/005620112_01636.jpg.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=0

Here'd a link to his marriage certificate (also the one on the right) http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/v/Archivio+di+Stato+di+Bari/Stato+civile+della+restaurazione/Noja/Matrimoni/1816/Parte+1/005620106_01585.jpg.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=0

Thanks for the help!

Yes, I see the name Nicola. I think there might be a name crossed out before this? There is also a name after this starting with C - maybe Carlo???? Here is the index - (right hand side right at the top): http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... 0.jpg.html

Vito? Nicola.

I believe Vito Nicola's surname is Luciannatelli, as already stated above. There was another surname originally written for him and then the correction to Luciannatelli. After that, there is his death info. He died in the current year on March 2, 1816. The groom's father died on April 20, 18xx (I can't read the rest of the year).

So Vito Nicola it is. Here is his death record:

His parents were the late Vito Luciannatelli and Angela Didonna.
