Marriage Record Translation

Postby xz5bz9 » 08 May 2015, 00:23

Attached is the link for the marriage record for Nicola Cavataio to Vincenza ? on 29 Jul 1640 in Carini. It is the last record on the lefthand side of the page. Any help in translating into English would be appreciated.

July 29, 1640-
Groom: Nicola Cavataio, son of Matteo and dec Antonia Cavataio of Carini
Bride: Vincenza Cavataio, daughter of Antonino and Ninfa Cavataio of Carini
Banns of marriage were on the 27th, 28th, and 29th of May and resulted in no impediments to the marriage

Thank you for your help. I was disappointed that the ages were not shown on the record.

You're very welcome. I haven't really seen ages in Latin church marriage records-usually only in Latin church death records and often only as estimates.
