Vincenzo Ricotta, single, 23, born in and resident of Mussomeli, son of Giuseppe (residing in Mussomeli) and Antonina Cast(iglione?) (residing in Mussomeli),
and

Maria Assunta Murana, single, 16, born in Villarosa, resident of Mussomeli, daughter of deceased Biagio (residing in Villarosa) and Giovanna Tinnirello (residing in Villarosa),

were married on 7 Oct 1877.

I'm not sure about the groom's mother's surname. It starts "Cast" and has a "g" 2 letters later. The only names that I can think of that fit that pattern are Castiglione and Castagna.

I read the bride's mother's surname as Castiglione, as well. :-) This is a name found in Mussomeli.

Vincenzo was a farmer, and Maria Assunta was a seamstress.

Banns were posted on 16 and 23 September 1877.
