act #420 - dated 14 Sep 1888
appearing before town officials is Cristina Manocchio, age 36, housewife residing in Campobasso, declares that 8.05am on Sept 13 (1888) at Strada San Paolo #50 to a woman that does not consent to be named, is born a female child to be name Elisa and last name of Clemanni.

Witnesses are Celestino ?antonelli, age 36, ??, and Francesco Linno? age 30 ??.

i am not sure about all of the writing (at bottom of act) other than the baby was delivered to Felicita Gaetana, the receiver of the "proietti" (foundlings / abandoned children) of the town.

the handwritten section reads that the declarant, Cristina Manocchio, reported that she had assisted the women who had given birth and that the infant was then given to the receiver of the town foundlings in order to be entrusted to a balia (wetnurse).

Sad that this is the end of the line for her. She knew her father after being given up, but i guess his identity went to the grave with her.
