One more document please

Postby wisemonkey » 17 Jul 2015, 02:16

Can someone please help me translate this document? I am really looking for birth and death dates for Saverio Ricci and Elisabetta Matalone (Maddalone).

It would be much appreciated.

This is the death certificate of Elisabetta Matalone, dated Sep 11th, 1812, in Scala (?).
She died the day before at age 54. She was a spinner, the daughter of Silvestro, and Catarina tavernese, both deceased, and the widow of Saverio di Ricci.
She died in her house, situated in strada Lo Spicone (?)

Thank you again! Elisabetta Matlone and Saverio Ricci were my 4th great grandparents. Unfortunately, these are the earliest records I have been able to find. I've written a letter to the parish priest in Scala Coeli seeking Church records and have high hopes.
Thank you again for your invaluable assistance.
