I meant to post this record instead of the one I posted yesterday. The middle text seems to indicate unmarried or not family. Can some one help with the translation of Benadetto Romano?

it reads "dalla sua unione con una donna non maritata non parente ne` affine con lui nei gradi che ostano al riconoscimento."

"from his union with a woman to whom he was not married nor a relative in any degree which would serve as an obstacle to the recognition"

ah ha! So illigitimate? And why do they not list this woman's name do you think? Or do they and Im missing it?
