Death No 102: Angela Sgro
Recorded on 8 September 1870, cinque di sera (5 at night? So 5 pm?), San Giuseppe Jato
Angela Sgro died the same day and month at her parents home in this town (San Giuseppe Jato). She was aged 7 months, born in S.Giuseppe Jato, daughter of Giuseppe, contadino (peasant farmer), and Rosolia Montedoro, both living in this town.

This record has Sgro' with the accent over the "o" instead of the final "i". It's the same name, though. "Sera" means evening, so, yes, "cinque di sera" would be 5 pm. Note that she died on the same day at noon (mezzogiorno).

Thank you for confirming the time Carubia. I was 99.9% sure and it's great to have this confirmed. I did look for the time of birth and somehow completely missed it - I'll blame it on to multi tasking at the time, and racing against the clock.

That's not information one normally finds in these civil death records.
