Actually born on 30 April 1898, and presented on 1 May.
Father is Salvatore, age 41; and mother is Anna Garrasi, age 30.

Giuseppe was born in S. Giuseppe Jato at the house at via Catalano.

The "constanza" you see is the surname of one of the witnesses to the recording of this birth... Raimondo Costanza. The other witness is Giovanni Fasone.

Depends on when he returned.
You could check death records in S. Giuseppe Jato.

He was deported in 1939, his wife refused to go back to italy and divorced him and remarried. He had siblings still in Italy, so I am working on finding all the birth records. if he was born in 1898 the records here only go to 1902, where should I look for more recent death records?

For more recent deaths you will need to write directly to the Comune of San Giuseppe Jato...

And... due to privacy laws, you may not be able to secure some of those later records.

Address:
Ufficio dello Stato Civile
Via Vittorio Emanuele, 143
90048 San Giuseppe Jato (PA)
ITALY
