Birth of Maria Sabatino

I would very much like an English translation of the birth record of Maria Sabatino. Thank you very much.

This copy is very difficult to read and does not enlarge much...

Maria appears to be a foundling...
Here is what I can see -

Dated 8 June 1878 at 4:20 PM at the town office.
Before the official appeared Carolina Luccaro, age 50, midwife residing in this town, to deliver to him a female child who appeared about one day old, whom she found with 2 white towels and one ???, three white shirts, a strip [of cloth] of pale blue,, and a bonnet of white and tan(?), and in good health, and she declared that about one AM today in Via Orefica she found outside the door of her house this child ...
The child was given the name Maria and the surname Sabatina, and sent to Signore President la Cxxxxxone(?) di Carito(?)/Conte(?)... hard to read

Hopefully someone will take another look at this...

Yes, T, that is my understanding as well. The town official consigned the infant to the president of the Congregazione di Carita`, which was an institution of public assistance and charity that had been created by the state to regulate public charity in each town. So the congregazione did minister to the needs of the poor.
