I believe that di Giacomo is Margherita's surname...

Angela and Livio,

Thanks for your help! One question, what is the occupation for Antonio Pietromartire?

Happy to help, John. Good question re Antonio P's occupation. I'm working on the occupation. I'm not sure that I am deciphering the letters correctly. I'm "assuming" it is another word for farmer but that's "not gospel". Will keep looking.

Grazie Livio. I was reading Camp.arolo but couldn't find the word anywhere and suspected it probably looked like another word for peasant farmer. It looks like there is another letter after the p, but maybe not.

Can you read what it says after "figlio del fu Alesio, di ....?

"di era di professione calzolaio"? That is, he was a cobbler in life. The vertical line in front of "era " is actually part of the "z" in calzolaio on the previous line. (I know this doesn't make sense grammatically, but these records don't always do.)

"ch'era (che era) di professione calzolaio". This makes sense also grammatically. Thanks Carubia for the clue!

Well, that solves that mystery. I've been thinking about this off and on since first reading the record. Well done, Carubia. Thank you both.

I found the 1833 processetti for Felice Antonio Raulli, son of Egidio Raulli and Crocifissa Raulli. The attached image is the extract of the birth record in Latin for Fellice Antonio Raulli.

How is Maria Teresia Alexii Raulli and Maria Rischitelli related to Felice Antonio Raulli?

Appreciate help with this record.

Maria Rischitelli was a midwife (obstetrix).

I believe that Maria Teresia Alexii Raulli means Maria Teresa daughter of Alessio Raulli and therefore Maria Teresa might be the sister of Egidio son of Alessio Raulli
