The couple went on to live in Turin

Postby nrepole » 14 Feb 2016, 19:16

Hi everyone
I am trying to translate the following phrase into Italian:
"Maria concludes: The couple went on to live in Turin, but Giuseppina has since passed away."

My attempt:
"Maria conclude: La coppia hanno andato a vivere a Torino, ma Giuseppina da allora è scomparso."

Is this correct?
Any help will be much appreciated.

I'd say :
Maria conclude: la coppia andò a vivere a Torino, ma Giuseppina in seguito morì
