"fredda stazione" -sad meaning?

Postby pdchenderson13 » 02 Mar 2016, 22:10

Hi there, buona sera.
I have been browsing through family search scanned files for Paccagnella in Padova, and found some difficult text/script. I am guessing "fredda stazione means stillborn" but hoping I'm wrong...

Can anyone help with the text and it's meaning.

As suanj :-D stated it was a cold season... and that is why the child was not presented by the father, but only declared verbally on the 3rd of January. Birth was on 2 January at 8 AM :-)
