Birth No 42: Giuseppantonio Cipriano
Frigento: 31 March 1876, 11 am
Father: Carmine Cipriano, 37, tamburrino? (drummer? Percussionist? Builder of drums?)
Mother: Maria Marciana Pelosi, Carmine's wife, housewife
Born: 7.20 pm, 29 March 1876, No 16 Via Limiti.
Witnesses: Donato di Rienzo, 26 and Carmine Pelosi, 29, both landowners living Frigento.

Dolores, Carmine's profession has come up previously spelt tamburino – drummer?

You are welcome, Dolores. I looked online at various dictionaries and they all said "drummer". Here's one: http://it.dictionarist.com/italiano-inglese/tamburino
The word sounds like tambourine to me, so that's why I thought maybe a percussionst, since they are both part of that family of musical instruments.
