reading mother's name

Postby Anizio » 08 Apr 2016, 11:34

Hello, I need some help reading the mother's name.

This is the death of Domenica Tallevi in 1808, seems like age 70 or 60, daughter of Giuseppe Tallevi and Gentile _______

Also, might this woman be related to me? It is a small town after all, probably around 2,000 in 1800, so less before that. Domenica Tallevi would have been born around 1738. My ancestor Maria Filippini was born in 1780, daughter of Mattea Tallevi di Giuseppe. So imagining Maria was born when Mattea was 30, Mattea would have been born around 1750. Is that too large a gap?

If not I will try to write the priest to learn more.

Thanks

TIP: When asking for records from Italy, do NOT ask for an "estratto." ALWAYS ask for a "copia integrale." A photocopy of the original Act will contain more information

Looks like Stafanelli, found in the region.
