1872 Death, Gambatesa

Postby JOHN08 » 27 Apr 2016, 08:02

On the 14th of January 1872, in Gambatesa, Campobasso, Molise, appeared Michelangelo Santella of deceased Giovanni, 70, peasant farmer, living in Gambatesa; also appeared Luigi di Renzo of deceased Pasquale, 62, peasant farmer, living in Gambatesa.

They declared on the 14th of January 1872, at 11:00 a.m., at the home at 7 Via del Palazzo, the death of Giuseppe Possumato, barber, 89, born in Gambatesa, widower of Domenica Genovese and son of Cosmo, peasant farmer, and Anna Maria Cantando, peasant farmer, both lived in Gambatesa.

Appreciate corrections/additions.

I was already looking at this before you posted, Livio. It doesn't say "No 7" Via del Palazzo, it says "casa fila/sila?" Via del Palazzo". In all four records on this page it has the word fila (row?) or sila after casa. I am not exactly sure what this means though.

Also, both parents were deceased, of course.

Angela

Edit: The word is "sita" so situated at Via del Palazzo, but definitely no seven (sette).

Angela you are correct, it does not say "7" Via Palazzo. It says "casa sita in Via Palazzo", house situated in Via Palazzo
