1869 Marriage, Gambatesa

On the 25th of January 1869, in Gambatesa, Campobasso, Molise, appeared Francesco di Michele of deceased Giovanni, 51, peasant farmer, living in Gambatesa; also appeared Fedinando Mucci of Giovannantonio, 33, peasant farmer, living in Gambatesa.

They declared that on the 24th of January 1869, at 8:00 p.m., the death of Maria Vittoria Leonardi, peasant farmer, 69, born and lived in Gambatesa, wife of Federico Severino, peasant farmer, living in Gambatesa and daughter of deceased ?? Antonio and [deceased] Rosaria Carano, peasant farmer, lived in Gambatesa.

Appreciate corrections/additions.

Tessa,

I didn't know that furono is the plural of "fu" (I would have thought that "fi" would be the plural, oh well, I learned something new---thanks).

Tessa, I was working on the another translation of a marriage record when I posted this death record, ---multitasking can lead to errors.

Hi John,

I should have been more clear... :-)
"fu" = he/she was
"furono" = they were

It was the third person plural... past tense of the verb "essere"
