this is the second page of a marriage act. i need help with Angelo Cardinale (4th line).
1. i believe i am correct that he is the notary.
2. what was recorded - the marriage? his status? consent of bride's parents? and is that what the numbers are related to?
3. is there any mention if he is related to the bride? (her mother is Maddalena Cardinale)
4. online 3 - what is the word "della data andante ?? dall Notaio.."

thanks so much,
Donna

Donna
I have a question for you since you didn't post the first page of the document. Was the bride and/or her parents from a town other than Ariano, where I'm assuming this marriage took place? I'm not sure about this but I think they went to the notary Don Angelo Cardinale (his relationship to the bride's mother is not given as far as I can tell), and he prepared an act with their consent to the marriage in advance (possibly because they couldn't be physically present at the marriage, although this is not stated). The numbers given appear to be the number of the act, the page number on which it is recorded, and the volume number in which it was recorded, but these all refer to a register kept by the notary and not a civil register. I can't decipher the word after andante.

yes, in fact, the groom was born in Bonito, the bride in Ariano, which is where the marriage took place.
thanks for clarifying this. it helps me to understand in a broader context.

mmogno - thanks for deciphering rogato.
