Birth No 105: Agolino? Cappa
Petilia Policastro: 25 July 1853, 9 pm
Appearing was Tommaso Cappa, 26yo, Falegname (joiner/carpenter), living in (Petilia) Policastro, to present a baby boy born to Maria Sisca, 26 yo, living in Policastro and to Tommaso Cappa, 26 yo, falegname, living in Policastro, on 24 (ventiquattro) July at 10 pm at his home. The baby boy was given the name Agolino?.
Angolino? Cappa was baptised on 25 July 1853 at the church of Santa Maria Maggiore.
The given name looks like Agolino to me. The only other name that it might be is Azolino, but the second letter is more like a "g" than a "z" to me. Hopefully someone will confirm the given name.

Agalino - is that a given name? I haven't seen this before. If it is a given name then that is possibly what it is then. The third letter is formed similarly to the first letter "a" which precedes the "l" in Falegname. (I hope you understand my English. Sometimes I write too much.)mmogno wrote:Agalino ?

Thank you again Angela and mmogno for your most generous help. Again, it is so very much appreciated. And not to worry, your English is perfect.
