The first document is the extract of the baptism record of Corrado Francesco Marchetti

The extract is dated Sept 3, 1874 and is from the book of baptisms for 1851, p. 100, no. 1.
He was the son of Andrea Marchetti and Cherubina Marchetti, spouses of this parish.
He was born at 11 a.m. on Jan 5, 1851 and was baptized on the same day.

The next two documents are part of the Proceedings of the Guardianship Council (similar to the family council proceedings) for Giuseppa Montanelli. She was the daughter of dec Costantino Montanelli. Since both of her parents were deceased, and she was underage, the town had assigned her a guardian to act in her best interests for the marriage and to give its consent to her marriage. She appeared before this council. Convening were her assigned guardian and 4 council members (from the town)-not relatives of her. The purpose of them convening was to determine whether or not the prospective groom was of good moral character, and worthy enough to marry her, and to give their consent to the marriage, since her parents were not alive to do so. I have not been able to improve the quality of the pages to give you specifics from them, but that is what this document is about.

Thank you Erudita, I hadn't heard of the Guardianship Council before. It sounds like a good idea, even for today.
