Gary
This is the best I can do in reading the document.

The bottom page is the first page dated May 11, 1835.

There were 6 individuals who made up the family council to give their consent for the minor Gisueppe's marriage, since neither his parents nor grandfather were alive to do so.

1. Antonio Nicolozzo, the son of deceased Angelo (Nicolozzo). He was age 46 and a peasant born and living in the town. He was Giuseppe's paternal uncle.

2. Antonio Abate-the son of deceased Giuseppe (Abate), age 50, a tailor, born and living in the town. He was a friend on the paternal side of the family

3. Felice Calabretta, the son of deceased Domenico (Calabretta), age 61, a shoemaker born and living in the town. He too was a friend on the father's side of the family

4. Pasquale Venturiero, the son of dec Alesandro (Venturiero), age 56, a native of Monteleone who was living in this town. He transported goods. He was a maternal uncle.

5. Francesco Antonio Racco (sp?). He was the son of deceased Nicola Racco?, age 62, a carpenter living in the town. He was a friend on the maternal side of the family.

6. Gregorio Giardino, the son of deceased Vincenzo Giardino, age 75, a peasant in the town, and a friend on the mother's side of the family

After the 6 above individuals deliberated the merits of the prospective bride, Francesca Cosco, they gave their consent for Giuseppe to marry her.

Thank you so very very much Erudita. Petilia Policastro is a small commune and I recognize many of these family names. e.g. Angelo Nicolozzo is the Gradfater of Giuseppe.

I can't thank you enough for reading this.
