I've made a start and ran out of time. Someone might help with the last page.

Page One: Cover Page of 1877 Marriage Allegati for David Maltagliati and Maria Palamidessi. It says that it includes two documents.

Page Two: Extract of 1877 Marriage Act Index 19, Part I
Pescia: 23 March 1877, 10.15 am
Groom: David Maltagliati, 29, contadino, born in Pescia, residing Pescia, son of the late Luigi, and the late Costantina Buonamici, both residing Pescia when living.

Bride: Maria Palamidessi, 27, contadina, born in Buggiano, residing Uzzano, daughter of Angiolo and Pasqua Piatelli, both residing Uzzano.

Buggiano/Ponte Buggianese?

You are very welcome and bless you for your lovely comment. I just had a little look on line to see what was available for the province of Pistoia and I am not sure whether you realise it or not but you have some records for the towns mentioned in your records (eg Uzzano, Buggiano, Ponte Buggianese) at this link: https://familysearch.org/search/collect ... lter=false
https://familysearch.org/search/image/i ... /waypoints

When you find records there pertaining to your research you could just post the link to the image you might need translating:-)

Cheers
Angela

The third page carries on the usual formula for marriages, and lists witnesses:

Luigi Chegeli (sp?), 61 years old, peasant
Abramo Raffaelli, 37 yo; I'm not so sure about his occupation, it might be "chiodaiolo" (nail maker)

The documents they provided were the certificate of banns, posted on days 4 and 11 of same month.
Giuseppe "Pippo" Moccaldi

Thank you Pippo. It seems like 50% of the time the witnesses are related somehow.
