Michael Angelo Pampalone Baptism

Postby sacesta » 19 Aug 2016, 19:00

I may be getting ahead of myself with this one.

I haven't yet found Michael Angelo's record of marriage, so I don't know who his parents are, but this is the only Michael Angelo Pampalone I found in the indices of the general time frame in which I've calculated his approximate date of birth. And the indices are quite legible.

So, I have here what I believe to be Michael Angelo Pampalone's record of baptism. As usual, I'm looking for a translation of the pertinent genealogical information.

Thanks again for all your help,

Steve

born today-you have the date

I believe the father's first name is Pietro.

Infant: Michele Angelo Gaetano Giuseppe Mariano (Pampalone)

First witness:
(Don) Vincenzo Giannone, son of (Don) Nunzio (Giannone) and (Donna) Rosalia Basile, spouses of this town and church.

Second witness: (Donna) Antonina...wife of (Don) Nicola. Daughter of deceased notary(?) Fabrizio Pecora and (Donna) Vincenza Iaquinto (?), who had been spouses in this town and of this Mother Church.

Pietro, yes, I see that now.
The baptized has some name!
I'll have to look at the witnesses later. My eyes are very tired.
Thanks again for all your help Erudita!
