Record date: Jul 27, 1934 at 12:00
The record was written upon receipt of a note with the same date from the Pretore (a Judge) of Cittaducale, that was inserted in the Volume of Allegati (attachments).
The note stated the death of Francesca Stocchi in Antrodoco, on the same day.
She was born in Antrodoco on May 6, 1865, the daughter of Bernardino and Filippa Sulpizi, both deceased.

Thank you. This doesn't solve a little mystery I have as I have another Francesca Stocchi born from the same parents in 1870. I was hoping this may have been a correction or something.

Do you have a birth record for Francesca born in 1870, or you deducted the date from some other document?

I do have her birth notice from 1870. I tried posting the photo as its a picture I took of the microfilm document since it is not available online yet. The file is too big to post. Can I send it to you privately somehow...email maybe?

Ok I think I have your email so I emailed you Francesca Stocchi's birth notice from 1870. Here's the link for the other Francesca Stocchi born in 1865. http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... ewsIndex=0

I received it. Well, it's rather weird. It's not usual to find a Birth date in a Death record. It looks like her Birth date was written in the note received from the judge. Now, I wonder: 1) why did they have her Birth date? 2) why did the Commune receive a note from the judge? May be she died because of an accident or murder?

Registers from 1866 to 1899 are not available online, so we can't check if the Francesca born 1865 died before her sister, and the Birth date in the Death note was erroneously taken from Birth registers.
Also, as Francesca was married, you might check marriage registers from 1900 looking for her marriage record.

A relative who is Francesca's granddaughter, told me that Francesca born in 1870 committed suicide which would explain why the judge had the note. It's my belief that the birth year in the death notice is of the wrong Francesca Stocchi, that's what I was hoping that you would confirm for me in the translation. I have Francesca's marriage notice to Antonio Bardati. They got married in 1885 and it lists Francesca's age as 15, that's why I looked and found her birth notice in 1870. I'll email you the marriage notice as again it's a pic from a microfilm and too large to upload here.
