Postby vspeciale66 » 27 Sep 2016, 00:13

I found this record for my Gr Gr grandfather in the1894 Cittadinanza Records. What are those?

Can some one please help me translate what this says? I recognize his parents names in the record

Francesco Floreno is the record.

Francesco Floreno, 57yo landowner residing in S. Giuseppe Iato, and son of deceased Pietro [Floreno] and [living] Domenica Immordino, appeared before the town official on 6 April 1894, to say that he was transferring his residence to the Comune of Palermo to locate the headquarters of his affairs.

The record is a citizenship record, and was intended to keep track of town residents who moved in or out of the town.
