Latin Translation Help

Postby lentini » 10 Oct 2016, 23:14

Hi all,

Trying to translate this document in latin. If anyone would be kind enough to translate for me would be grateful. I particularly interested to understand who the people are who are getting married and their parents and any other family mentioned. Thank you

You have baptism and marriage records of Rosario Lentini.

He was born in August 1800, his parents were Giuseppe (Lentini) and Marianna Guarrara and his baptismal name was Rosario Antonio Francesco. By the time he married to Antonia Cupiro (sp?), his mother Marianna had died but his father was still alive. Antonia's parents were Giuseppe (Cupiro) and Caterina Pugliese, who were both probably still alive.

I don't see a date of marriage. It looks to be a record produced before the marriage.

Don't you know the source of this record? From where was it obtained? That will tell you where the marriage occurred. There is no information that I can see on where the bride was from.

Rosario was born on 8th August and baptized on the 9th.
