line #24 is crossed out.

Line number 25 looks like brother Domenico to me.

Sorry, I posted the second page.

On the first page it gives the name of Francesco's father in Mammola and I can't make it out.

It looks like Nicandro to me. While I haven't run across this name where I research (Molise), there are two comuni in Puglia which bear this name: San Nicandro Garganico (FG) and Sannicandro di Bari. I believe it is a name of Spanish or Greek origin.

Thank you for that piece of information.

I was hoping somone MIGHT see Nicodemo through it (but only because that's what I would like it to say).

Nuccia
Name: Domenico Fuda
Arrival Date: 16 Aug 1912
Age: 20 years
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1892
Gender: Male
Ethnic Background: Italian (South)
Port of Departure: Naples, Italy
Ship Name: Mendoza
Port of Arrival: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Friend's Name: Felippa Marrano

Here's one with a Nicodemo mentioned....

page 1

page 2

The town looks like Mammola to me and not "Macanole" as transcribed.

As always

Thanks. I need a break from this! Mom gave me a whole list of names to research today but I'll do it tomorrow. This is definitely a brother, as is Francesco. Sisters are Maria, Rosa, Concetta, and Carmella Fuda. Getting these names were like pulling teeth. I had to find Domico and Francesco though.

Smile :)
