This is only my guess. I'm sure someone else can do better.

Andra (=Andrea?) Dirous (looked & it is a surname, but not caming up on any of my Italian sites). Son of Marchis (Marchese?)

Reason... the "M" in San Mauro leads me to believe that this is an N....

Thanks for the suggestions...it's definitely Andrea Dirocco but the figlio bit stumps me.

Narciso is not a bad guess....anyone else?

I read Marchese, with an apparent diacritical stroke on the second E.
Narciso is not possible, there is an ascender in the middle of the word (minuscle H or L).
